Garrett Ministries is an evangelistic and discipling vehicle whose intent is to shape a generation of children, teenagers, college students, and adults into a mighty army for the Kingdom of God.
Jim Garrett is an ordained minister who specializes in ministry to youth, college students, and adults. He is the Pastor of Family Ministries at Christian Life Center in Tinley Park, IL. Academically, he has earned a BS degree through Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL and both a MDiv and a DMin from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, OH. Jim has also attended Furman University, Emmanuel College, Global University, and Lee University. He is an adjunct professor at Ashland Theological Seminary where he instructs in New Testament Greek, Introduction to Student Ministry in the Church, Children's Ministry, Evangelism, Models of Education, Missional Church, and Foundations of Bible Study. He has also taught at Midwest Bible College and Seminary in Mansfield, OH and Vision Bible College in Stryker/Defiance, OH. Jim is a guitarist and a worship leader and has a deep love for Biblical languages.
Cheri is a gifted teacher , writer, and organizer with a strong desire to minister liberty and self-worth to teens and young adult women. She is the Operations Manager at Christian Life Center in Tinley Park, IL. Her experience as a wife, mother, grandmother, and spokeswoman for God have placed her in respected pulpits all across the western hemisphere. Cheri is also a Mary Kay Representative and welcomes your business as it supports their ministry. Jim and Cheri have a beautiful Shih Tzu, Taffy.

Crystal Garrett-Bunts is a 2003 graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, TN where she majored in Intercultural Studies. (She also attended Owens Community College in Toledo, OH.) With her heart's desire for missions and children, she has ministered in many parts of the world using mime, puppetry, drama, music, and teaching. Currently, Crystal is teaching Jr. High and High School English in Monclova, OH and is working on her MEd at Cedarville University. She is married to David Bunts (University of Toledo Class of 2002) and they reside in Maumee, OH. They have a son, Isaac Hebron Bunts, born on February 15, 2007. Amber Marroquin is a 2004 graduate of the Medical College of Ohio/University of Toledo where she studied Nursing with a desire for a career in the neo-natal field. (She also attended Lee University.) She is a gifted singer and worship leader with a strong desire to influence others for Christ. She is married to Eduardo Marroquin III (Lee University class of 2002). They are very active in their local church, Christian Life Center in Tinley Park. They live in Bolingbrook (Chicago), IL and have two daughters, Aubrianna Isabel Marroquin, born on November 28, 2005, and Annaliese Hope Marroquin born on August 29, 2007. Jamie Garrett has attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN, the Ohio State University, and Global University. His field of academic study is Music Education with a minor in Vocal Performance. He, too, is a gifted worship leader and mime. Check out some of his music (and recommend it to a friend.) Jamie has Black Belts in several styles of Karate. Jamie is married to Crystal Martin Garrett and they have three children: Christian Jaiden Garrett, born on November 24, 2004, Carson James Garrett, born on March 9, 2006, and Chloe Jewel Garrett, born April 22, 2007. They live in Ashland, OH.
